
François Caballero begins in the world of music at the age of 17 in Paris, as multi-instrumentalist of folk Latin American music with the group "Los Incas". A-warded in Paris for his single "Un hombre quiso saber", Grand Prix du disque de l’academie Charles-Cros.
At the beginning of the 80's he introduces himself into the samba schools of Rio de Janeiro. He parades as a percusionist during the carnival with "The Mocidade Independente de Padre Miguel" samba school.
In the 90's he graduates as a teacher with the musicologist Nicia Ribas d'Ávila, and he joins the first European samba school.
Nowadays François Caballero still continues performing Brazilian popular music, and he's currently finishing a project of self-writer compositions which reflecting all of his music knowledge, mixing his Brazilian influences with the sound of his homeland France.
